Bus Éireann is seeking a Communications Officer to play a key role in delivering clear, consistent and engaging communications across the organisation.

Reporting to the Media & Communications Manager this role is responsible for supporting the delivery of Bus Éireann’s media and political communications activity to local and national stakeholders.

The role holder will work with a cross section of internal and external stakeholders.

This new role offers an excellent opportunity for an early career corporate communications professional to build on existing skills in a complex and varied organisation, and for a large, national brand. Bus Éireann has a varied stakeholder network reflecting the breadth of operations across Public Service Obligation (four cities, six towns, rural and commuter services), commercial intercity Expressway and Schools Transport.

The External Communications team is part of Bus Éireann’s Commercial Department and has corporate communications responsibility across all of Bus Éireann activities including commercial, public service obligation, Schools Transport, sustainability and reputation management.

This is a 1 year contract role.
