Supervisors

As a Bus Éireann Supervisor you will focus on the day-to-day operations of ensuring our services run smoothly. Whether your job is in one of our AVL offices in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Waterford where you work to keep services running on time, are one of our Schools' Supervisors helping over 140,000 children get to and from school safely each day, or are based in our stations and depots helping customers you will bring your keen sense of customer service to work with you every day.

Minimum requirements to join our team:
Bus Driver Training Programme (B Licence Applicants) | Professional Bus Driver (D Licence Applicants) |
- A valid driving Irish licence Category B (for a minimum of 2 years) or Category C with no endorsements; - A valid D Irish Licence Learner Permit; - A valid Irish CPC Bus Case Study sheet (Please note, the CPC bus case study is only valid for a period of 2 years from its date of issue). | - A full, clean, Class D Irish driver’s licence (must have a valid driving licence Category B for a minimum of 2 years with no endorsements); - A digital tachograph card; - A driver Irish CPC (certificate of professional competence) for public service vehicle drivers; - Strong customer service skills; - An enthusiastic attitude |

Bus Driver Training Programme
On appointment following a probationary period of 12 months, (excluding initial training period) we will offer you a wide range of benefits including either a company pension scheme or a PRSA pension scheme, a subsidized medical scheme, free bus travel and concessionary rain travel.
Professional Bus Driver
We recruit the best and in return we offer a competitive benefits package that is mindful of you and your family. Typically working Sunday and Saturday, overtime may also be available to supplement your earnings. When you start with us, you will receive our professional driver uniform.
