Engineering & Maintenance
The availability, reliability, safety and performance of our fleet are all fundamental to putting our customers at the heart of what we do every day. We have an ambition to become one of the greenest public transportation companies in Europe, and in support of the Government’s climate change commitments, we have invested in our fleet of low emission, Hybrid and Hydrogen vehicles as we transition from our current diesel engines. In 2023 we were delighted to introduce Athlone’s town bus service which is Ireland’s first all-electric bus service. In April 2024 we were proud to launch our first ever all-electric city bus service in Limerick City, delivering a cleaner, quieter and enhanced customer experience for our 4.6 million Limerick city service passengers annually.
