Senior Recruitment Manager Cork - 6 month contract - 3 days a week

 

The National Transport Authority (NTA) launched its new design for the Cork Metropolitan Bus Network in June 2022. The new network, part of BusConnects Cork, will transform the public transport network across the Cork Metropolitan Area and Bus Eireann are currently seeking a Senior Recruitment Manager to lead our recruitment efforts in Cork.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer and working closely with the Strategic Workforce Planning & Recruitment Senior Manager, the successful candidate will take charge of the ongoing development and execution of the recruitment and retention strategy for Cork through building strategic partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They will ensure that the recruitment policies and procedures align seamlessly with the organisation's workforce and talent requirements.

 

The Senior Recruitment Manager, Cork will have specific responsibility for the hiring process for drivers and mechanics in Cork, embodying company values throughout and supporting inclusive hiring practices.

 

Requirements of the role

  • Minimum 5 years Strategic HR experience, at least 2 at Manager level.
  • Experience in working with and leading Recruitment Campaigns.
  • Ability to build organisational capability through HR systems.
  • Strong communication skills including in social media.
  • Knowledge of business focused HR standards and procedures, particularly in the area of recruitment and talent development.
  • Experience in professionally representing the business at external events.
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Relevant third level qualification.
  • Specialist Recruitment accreditation e.g. CIPD
