Bus Éireann is seeking a passionate, dedicated and experienced Senior Manager, to lead the organisation’s energy strategy and play a key role in driving greater efficiency, advancing renewable energy initiatives, and ensuring full compliance with all energy and fuel-related legislation.

This is a high-impact role that combines strategic planning with operational delivery across Bus Éireann’s nationwide operations. The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of energy management systems, renewable energy projects, and efficiency programmes across our fleet and facilities. Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders, government agencies, and technical teams, you will help shape Bus Éireann’s transition to a low-carbon future while maintaining reliability, affordability, and excellence in service delivery.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 8 qualification in engineering, energy, or environmental management and bring substantial experience in energy management and sustainability. You will demonstrate strong technical expertise, strategic insight, and leadership capability to deliver measurable progress toward Bus Éireann’s decarbonisation and energy performance goals.
