Purpose:   All Craftworkers will be fully flexible and will undertake any craft task subject only to their level of competence and taking account of safety considerations. 

Key Responsibilities

*       Utilise specialised skills to conduct maintenance, inspection, diagnostics and repairs on all fleet types to the company standard and within safety regulations.

*       Takes the initiative to complete tasks as necessary.

*       Identifies and utilises resources effectively.

*       Consistently meets deadlines.

*       Training apprentices

*       Accurate reporting and timely communication with Supervisors and colleagues.

*       Present vehicle after repair in a ready to use condition.

*       Must be willing to upskill and partake in CPD programme.

Skills and Knowledge

Essential

*       QQI Level Six Award

*       High Level of Technical Knowledge.

*       Experience, minimum 3 years.

*       Must be willing and able to work as part of a team.

Desirable:

Bus licence (D)

Breakdown/Recovery experience

Manual Handling

Air Con (F-Gas) certified

Working at heights

General Characteristics: Work as part of the Maintenance team.  Reports to Maintenance Manager or Garage Supervisor.
