The purpose of the Bus Connects Project manager is to be a key part of the Bus Connects Project Team, ensuring the effective and timely delivery of various parts of the Bus Connects Project through the development and management of a robust overall project plan that links with other related project plans.
Bus Connects is a key part of the Government's policies to improve public transport and address climate change in Ireland's major urban services including Cork, Limerick, Galway & Waterford. Bus Connects is a program developed and managed by the National Transport Authority (NTA) and includes nine initiatives including redesigning the bus network, new ticketing and fare systems, transitioning to a zero emissions bus fleet, new facilities and enhanced bus stop infrastructure.
This position reporting to the Head of PSO Contracts will be a key part of the Bus Connects Project Team, ensuring the effective and timely delivery of the various parts of the Bus Connects Project through the development and management of a robust overall project plan that links and co-ordinates with other non Bus Connects specific plans in a complex multi layered environment.
This is a fixed term contract and the successful candidate will be required to spend time in both Dublin and Cork.
