**Open to Existing Supervisors Only**

As a Service Supervisor School Transport you will be responsible for the effective delivery, coordination and continuous improvement of the School Transport Scheme within East region. You will oversee the day-today transport operations, including the supervision of drivers and contractors, route planning, service performance and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency and customer service, ensuring that transport services are delivered reliably and meet the needs of pupils, schools and the wider community.

You will play a key role in monitoring operational performance, managing incidents, supporting route optimisation and ensuring value for money in service delivery, while maintaining high standards of health, safety and safeguarding.

This position typically reports to the Regional School Transport Manager. You will also work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including the Chief Clerk, Garage Supervisors, School Transport staff, drivers, contractors, school principals and staff, as well as parents and pupils, to support the smooth operation and ongoing development of the service.

Please note the selection process will follow the Supervisor Grade selection process, consisting of online assessments and in-person interview.
