Bus Éireann is looking for practical, hands-on individuals to join our operational teams in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Waterford.

In this role, you will help keep our buses running smoothly each day by checking, supporting and looking after key onboard equipment. This includes ticket machines and other systems such as location tracking, communication devices, CCTV, WiFi and similar onboard equipment. 5 over 7 day working arrangement starting at 5am to support daily run out and typically one Sunday in every 4 to carry out health checks, updates and equipment audits .

As part of a local team, your main role is to make sure each bus leaves the depot with a working ticket machine and that other onboard systems are regularly checked and functioning properly.

You will work closely with local depot staff, central support teams, suppliers and other operations teams to quickly resolve any issues that arise. This role requires confidence using technology, keeping accurate records and keeping track of equipment performance. You will work side-by-side with teams such as Maintenance, IT, Cash Office, local operations and AVL (vehicle tracking) to ensure smooth daily operations.
