Purpose: To reflect the legal requirements and qualifications required to carry out the role under EU Directives, Regulations and S.I.s in line with requirements of the State, RSA and State Agencies.

To carry out the driver training function & assist in the selection of new drivers in the Region by assessing applicants driving ability to ensure it is to Bus Éireann standard.

Assessment of drivers following collision / incidents and develop driving standards by delivering Advance Driving training.

Deliver statutory/specialised training courses as required and requested by the Company.

Maintain training records locally in co-operation with the Regional HR function/CORE requirements.

Please note this is a 5/7 position, flexibility is required to meet business needs.
